About the attack in Istanbul

The news of the heinous attacks perpetrated last Saturday in Istanbul came as a terrific shock.

The International Raoul Wallenberg Foundation, an educational NGO that preserves the memory of all the heroes of the Holocaust, expresses its condolences, to you and to the Turkish people, in this sad hour.

This murderous crime affects not only the Jewish community but the whole Turkish people as well.

To be sure, the destruction of the Neve Shalom and Beth Israel synagogues is an affront to all the people of good will, regardless of their origins, faith or nationality.

This is the challenge of our times: to stand firmly and fearless against the agents of terror.
