Commemorative Stamp Collection of the IRWF

Between 1933 and 1945 tens of thousands of people went beyond the line of duty and violated laws and regulations established strictly for the purpose of extending a hand to those in desperate need. Their names and actions deserve the permanent reminder to the thunderous dynamics of daily events not covered with a mantle of oblivion. To honor these exceptional people the International Raoul Wallenberg Foundation, in partnership with Casa Argentina in Israel Holy Land, conducts a program to issue commemorative stamps to promote behavior during the Holocaust who were notable for implementing values solidarity and civic courage, helping the persecuted and condemned to death by the Nazi regime. Also, always with the goal of preservation of memory, both institutions remind people who have excelled for their spirit of solidarity, for their righteousness and their performance in their respective occupations.
