Letter from Daniel Amoroso, Buenos Aires City Congressman

Buenos Aires, 26 April 2006

Dear President,

I write to you with regard to the fate of Raoul Wallenberg, the Swedish diplomat that saved thousands of people condemned to death during the Second World War. Sixty years have gone by since this man was captured by the Soviet Army and his fate is still unknown.

You have the chance of making a historical humanitarian action and giving an answer to more than twenty thousand people that joined the international campaign promoted by the International Raoul Wallenberg Foundation, whose mission is to find out the fate of the diplomat in order to reunite him with his family.

For that reason and for all those who fight for the clarification of this situation, I ask you to help us find Raoul Wallenberg and return him to his country.

Sincerely yours,

Daniel Amoroso
Buenos Aires City Congressman
