  • Raoul Wallenberg Day – USA. The annual campaign to ask US Governors to proclaim October 5th as Raoul Wallenberg Day in their States is on its way. This would be the 3rd year that the IRWF embarks in this initiative. So far, Governors of Nebraska and Michigan proclaimed a 2007 Wallenberg Day. In previous years, Governors of Minnesota, West Virginia, New Jersey, Nevada, Illinois, Maine, Connecticut and Maryland followed our request.
  • Ben Olander at Smurfit Kappa AB Företag, Sweden. Swedish folk musician Ben Olander will discuss the Holocaust and present Swedish diplomat, Raoul Wallenberg, as an example of courage and what one person can do to prevent everything that comes between harassment and genocide.

  • Seminar and Film ”Nina´s Journey” by Lena Einhorn. This drama-documentary is based on the story of the director’s, mother, and describes her survival during the Holocaust, including her flight from the Warsaw ghetto. At the Sakharov Museum and Center, Zemlyanoi val 57, Bld 6, Moscow – 5:30pm.
