IN TRIBUTE TO STANISLAWA SLAWINSKA
A POLISH HEROINE WHO RESCUED JEWS DURING THE HOLOCAUST


The Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Tel Aviv and
The International Raoul Wallenberg Foundation

are pleased to announce a reception to be held at the private residence of
Ambassador Agnieszka Magdziak–Miszewska,
to honor the memory of Stanislawa Slawinska,
a corageous Polish woman who gave shelter to Jews during WWII.

Following an in-depth research made by the International Raoul Wallenberg Foundation,
Ms. Slawinska has been recently declared Righteous among Nations by Yad Vashem.

One of the people saved by her is Esfira Maiman, aged 94, who lives in Israel.

The reception will take place on Thursday, November 13th and
shall be attended by the living relatives of Stanislawa Slawinska,
Roman, Jacek and Milosz Slawinski, who are especially flying from Warsaw.
