  • Ben Olander at Lidingö kyrka Församling, Djursholms Gymnasium Gymnasieskola and R.W. Academy for Young Leaders, Stockholm Gymnasieskola, Sweden. Swedish folk musician Ben Olander will discuss the Holocaust and present Swedish diplomat, Raoul Wallenberg, as an example of courage and what one person can do to prevent everything that comes between harassment and genocide.

  • Screening of documentary about Wallenberg’s partner and friend. Budapest, Hungary. The Raoul Wallenberg Asociation of Hungary presents the film ”With Raoul Wallenberg in Budapest” about the life of Per Anger at the Holocaust Documentation Center, following their annual meeting. Per Anger was a young diplomat for the Swedish legation in Budapest in 1944 and assisted Raoul Wallenberg in the struggle to save Hungarian Jewry. After Wallenberg was taken prisoner by the liberating Soviets in January of 1945, Anger dedicated his life to discovering the fate of his partner, a fate still unknown. Páva u. 39.
