Olschwanger Exhibition in Berlin will remain open until August 31st., 2008

A never-before published poem by this talented artist sees the light for the first time on our website

Following its great success, the closing of the Robert Hans Olschwanger’s political caricatures Exhibition is being postponed till August 31st., 2008.

The Exhibition, which opened on May 5th., in the Vaterunse Gemeinde Church was scheduled to close on July 7th., 2008.

The Exhibition was attended by a great of number of visitors and earned the accolades from the specialized critics.

Robert Hans Olschwanger was a versatile and multi-facetic artist. He was not only a gifted caricaturist but also an accomplished poet. Through these artistic tools, he expressed his views against all forms of racism.

The International Raoul Wallenberg Foundation and the Vaterunse Gemeinde Protestant Church are proud to post online this monumental poem, which was never published.

The poem, entitled Die Geschichte eines Verbrechen is an epic prophesy of the somber future of Germany, seen from the author’s eyes, following the rise of Nazism.
